Located just 15 to 20 minutes drive from
Bridgewater, the major shopping and commercial area on Nova Scotia's South
Shore, these properties front on the clean waters of Molega Lake one of the
largest lakes in the area (19 kms.) with many coves, islands, and inlets for
exploration along with providing excellent boating, water skiing, fishing, and
connections to the many adjacent lakes. They are central to both the shores
of the Bay of Fundy and the Atlantic
Ocean which also provide many recreational opportunities with their varied
rocky coast lines and long sandy beaches. Other activities might include diving,
deep sea fishing, and whale watching. Halifax
and the International
Airport are within a 1 1/2 hour drive. Halifax
the major city of the Maritimes allows for historical, cultural, academic, and
commercial persuits. The climate being influenced by the surrounding ocean is
generally mild for this latitude making the summer temperatures fairly pleasant
while the winters are not often harsh.
